How to use TIMS for training registration, participation, and tracking

Follow this guide to register, log in, apply for trainings, view your dashboard, mark attendance, submit assignments, and access training materials.

1. Create account

Register with your official details and keep your login credentials safe.

2. Choose training

Browse ongoing or upcoming training routines and open the details page.

3. Apply or enroll

Submit your request from the training detail page and wait for approval when required.

4. Use dashboard

Track approved trainings, timetable, resources, attendance, assignments, and feedback.

Before You Start

Personal details

Keep your name, email, phone number, office, designation, and address ready.

Active email

Use an email address you can access for account and training updates.

Required files

If a training asks for documents, upload clear and valid files only.

Register an Account

  1. 1. Click Register from the top menu.
  2. 2. Fill in your personal and official details correctly.
  3. 3. Set a strong password and submit the form.
  4. 4. After registration, use the same email and password to log in.

Log In

Click Login, enter your email and password, then open your dashboard. If you cannot log in, check your credentials or contact the TIMS support team.

Find Trainings

Training list

Open Trainings to view all, ongoing, upcoming, or completed training routines.

Search

Use the search icon to search by training name and filter the routines list.

Apply for Training

  1. 1. Open a training from the routines page.
  2. 2. Review dates, venue, description, and eligibility details.
  3. 3. Click the enrollment or apply action shown on the training page.
  4. 4. Wait for approval if the training requires admin verification.

View Your Dashboard

Enrollments: view trainings you applied for, approved trainings, and status updates.

Timetable: open the module schedule and session plan for approved trainings.

Assignments: view assigned work and submit answers within the deadline.

Attendance

When your approved training is active for the day, an Attendance button appears in your dashboard or on the training page. Click the button during the valid attendance time to mark your attendance for that training day.

Daily check-in

Mark attendance once for the active training day so your participation record stays updated.

Location required

Keep location access enabled and stay near the training venue or allowed area while marking attendance.

Progress tracking

Your attendance history helps you and the training team track participation and training progress.

Training Materials and Feedback

Resources

Download reading materials, files, and resources shared for your approved training.

Feedback

Submit feedback when it appears for your training. Your response helps lecturers improve delivery, materials, pacing, and future sessions.

Three levels of feedback

Session feedback

Appears after a class or session when the trainer wants input on that specific lecture.

Module feedback

Appears after a module or topic block is completed to review content, exercises, and clarity.

Training feedback

Appears near the end of the training to evaluate the overall program, venue, schedule, and facilitation.

Please give honest and constructive feedback whenever a form is available. It directly supports lecturers, coordinators, and administrators in improving the learning experience.

Roster and Support

Use the Roster tab if you need to submit a resource person roster application. For account, enrollment, attendance, or dashboard issues, contact the TIMS administrator with your name, email, training title, and issue details.
